The prophet exhorts the Jews and likewise the heathen, yea all creatures to the praise of God, because of His kindness, His truth, salvation and deliverance by Christ.

A Psalm.

1

O SING unto 1the LORD 2a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: 3his right hand, and 4his holy arm, hath 5gotten him the 6victory.

The 7LORD hath made known his salvation: 8his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

9He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: 10all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, 11all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, 12the King.

Let the sea 13roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

8

Let the floods clap their 14hands: let the hills be 15joyful together

9

Before 16the LORD; for 17he cometh to judge 18the earth: 19with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people 20with equity.
