3Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold uwondrous things out of thy law.
I am va stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
aPrinces also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
My soul 5melteth for heaviness: istrengthen thou me according unto thy word.
uMake me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I vdelight.
7So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
And I will walk 8at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
kTeach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Thou through thy commandments ihast made me wiser than mine enemies: for 16they are ever with me.
I jhave more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
I kunderstand more than the *ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
vMy soul is continually in my hand: wyet do I not forget thy law.
xI am thy servant; ygive me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
It is ztime for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
Therefore bI esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and cI hate every false way.
The eentrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the *simple.
My pzeal hath 23consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
Thy word is 24very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
I cried unto thee; save me, 26and I shall keep thy testimonies.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are gbefore thee.
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
