1

IN 1that day there shall be 2a fountain 3opened 4to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem 5for sin and for 6uncleanness.

2

¶And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off 7the names of the 8idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause 9the prophets and 10the unclean spirit 11to pass out of the land.

3

And it shall come to pass, that when any shall 12yet prophesy, 13then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, 14Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him 15shall thrust him through when he 16prophesieth.

4

And it shall come to pass in that day, that 17the prophets shall be 18ashamed every one of 19his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear 20a rough garment to deceive:

5

But 21he shall say, I am no prophet, 22I am an husbandman; for 23man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

6

And one shall say unto him, 24What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house 25of my friends.

7

26Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the 27man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smitea the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will 28turn mine hand upon 29the little ones.

8

And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, 30two parts therein shall be cut off and 31die; but 32the third shall be left therein.

9

And I will bring 33the third part 34through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them asb gold is tried: 35theyc shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, Itdis my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
