Song Of Solomon
Song Of Solomon 1 ©
1 The church's love unto Christ: 5 she confesseth her deformity, 7 and prayeth to be directed to His flock. 8 Christ directeth her to the shepherds' tents: 9 and shewing His love to her, 11 giveth her gracious promises. 12 The church and Christ congratulate one another.
THE asong of songs, which is Solomon's.
gDraw me, we will run after thee: hthe king hath brought me into his chambers: iwe will be glad and rejoice in thee, jwe will remember thy love more than wine: 2the upright love thee.
Look not upon me, because oI am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: pmy mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
Tell me, qO thou whom my soul loveth, where rthou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: sfor why should I be 3as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?
yWe will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.
My beloved is unto me as a cluster of 4*camphire in the vineyards of En-gedi.
