Christ teacheth to avoid giving occasions of offence: and to forgive one another. The power of faith, and defect of merit toward God in our best services. Christ healeth ten lepers: sheweth the spiritual nature of the kingdom of God; and instructeth his disciples concerning the coming of the Son of man.
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him iby and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to *meat?
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, jand *gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I *trow not.
gFor as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be hin his day.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
uTwo women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
3Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
