Ephesians
Ephesians 6 ©
1 The relative duties of children, 4 and parents; 5 of servants, 9 and masters. 10 Paul exhorteth the brethren to resist spiritual enemies by putting on the whole armour of God, 18 and by perseverance in prayer, which he requireth for all saints, and particularly for himself, that he might preach the gospel with due boldness. 21 He commendeth Tychicus, 23 and concludeth with good wishes to all sincere Christians.
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
eServants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, fwith fear and trembling, in gsingleness of your heart, has unto Christ;
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as ithe servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
mAnd, ye masters, do the same things unto them, 1forbearing threatening: knowing that 2your Master also is in heaven; nneither is there respect of persons with him.
For swe wrestle not against 3flesh and blood, but against tprincipalities, against powers, against uthe rulers of the darkness of this world, against 4spiritual wickedness in 5high places.
cPraying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and dwatching thereunto with eall perseverance and supplication for fall saints;
lBut that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, mTychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
oPeace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
pGrace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ 9in sincerity. Amen.
