Deuteronomy 27 ©
1 The people are commanded to write the law upon stones, which are to be set up, and an altar of whole stones to be built, in mount Ebal. 9 Moses and the priests recommend attention and obedience to the law. 11 Six tribes to be stationed on Gerizim, and six on Ebal. 14 The curses to be pronounced by the Levites.
And thou dshalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto ethe land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, fa land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer jburnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
¶And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
sCursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an tabomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and uputteth it in a secret place. And vall the people shall answer and say, Amen.
Cursed be he athat lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he cthat lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he dthat lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
