Zechariah 2

1The vision of an angel sent to measure Jerusalem, and its flourishing state under God's protection foretold. 6The people warned to quit Babylon before its fall. 10The promise of God's presence.


1I aLIFTED up mine eyes again, and looked, band behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, cTo measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

5For I, saith the LORD, hwill be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

8For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the lglory hath he sent me unto mthe nations which spoiled you: for he that ntoucheth you toucheth the *apple of his eye.
