Psalm 118

1An exhortation to praise God for his mercy. 5The Psalmist by his own experience sheweth how good it is to trust in God. 19Under the type of the Psalmist the coming of Christ in his kingdom is expressed.


1O GIVE athanks unto the LORD; for he is good: bbecause his mercy endureth for ever.

13Thou ohast thrust *sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
