1The birth of Christ foretold: 4his kingdom: 8his complete conquest over his enemies.


1NOW agather thyself in troops, O bdaughter of troops: che hath laid siege against us: they dshall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

8¶And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people was a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of 6sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
