Matthew 28

1Christ's resurrection is declared by an angel to the women. 9Christ himself appeareth to them. 11The chief priests bribe the soldiers to report that he was stolen by the disciples. 16Christ appeareth to the eleven in Galilee; 18and sendeth them to teach and baptize all nations.


1IN the aend of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2And, behold, there 1was a great earthquake: for bthe angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

11¶Now when they were going, behold, some of nthe watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
