Luke 17

1Christ teacheth to avoid giving occasions of offence: 3and to forgive one another. 5The power of faith, and defect of merit toward God in our best services. 11Christ healeth ten lepers: 20sheweth the spiritual nature of the kingdom of God; 22and instructeth his disciples concerning the coming of the Son of man.


1THEN said he unto the disciples, aIt is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him , through whom they come!

20¶And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, awhen the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not 1with observation:

27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
