Isaiah 52

1The church is roused with God's promise of free redemption. 7The welcome news of Christ's kingdom: 9the church is exhorted to rejoice therein; 11and to flee from bondage and its defilements. 13A prophecy of the glory of Christ after his sufferings.


1aAWAKE, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the bholy city: for henceforth cthere shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
