Isaiah 48

1God revealed himself by prophecy, that his works might not be ascribed to idols: 9he saveth his people for his own sake: 12he exhorteth them to obedience because of his power and providence: 16he lamenteth their disobedience: 20he sendeth his people out of Babylon.


1HEAR ye this, O house of Jacob, which are acalled by the name of Israel, and bare come forth out of the waters of Judah, cwhich swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of dthe God of Israel, but enot in truth, nor in righteousness.
