1God's judgments upon Babylon, for her unmercifulness and pride shall be irresistible. 12All her sorceries will not avail her.


1aCOME down, and sit in the dust, O virgin bdaughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, cO daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
