Isaiah 24

1The deplorable judgments of God upon the land. 13A remnant shall joyfully praise him. 16Amidst the general calamities of the earth God's kingdom shall be set up with glory.


1aBEHOLD, the LORD 1maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and 2turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

6hTherefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: itherefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
