Isaiah 14

1God's merciful restoration of Israel. 3Their triumph in the fall of the king of Babylon. 24God's purpose against Assyria. 29Palestina is threatened.


1FOR athe LORD bwill have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and cthe strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

17That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that 8opened not the house of his prisoners?
