Isaiah 10

1God's judgments for injustice and oppression. 5The Assyrian, the instrument of God's vengeance, for his pride shall be broken. 20The remnant of Israel shall return after the determined desolation. 24Judah is comforted with a promise of deliverance from Assyria. 28The approach of the Assyrian to Jerusalem, and his destruction.


1WOE unto them that adecree unrighteous decrees, and 1that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

17dAnd the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;

24¶Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, oO my people that dwellest in Zion, pbe not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with qa rod, 15and shall lift up his staff against thee, rafter the manner of Egypt.
