1Unto Habakkuk, waiting for an answer, 2is showed that he must wait in faith. 5The judgment of the Chaldeans for insatiableness, 9ambition, 12cruelty, 15treacherous dealing, 18and idolatry.


1I WILL astand upon my watch, and set me upon the 1tower, and will watch to see what he will bsay 2unto me, and what I shall answer when I am 3reproved.

9¶Woe to him that 7coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the 8power of evil!
