1Laws concerning slander, false witness, and partial favouring of the poor; 4charitableness; 6justice in judgment; 8taking bribes; 9oppressing a stranger; 10the year of rest; 12the sabbath. 13A caution against idolatry. 14Laws concerning the three set feasts; 18the blood and fat of the sacrifice; and the firstfruits. 20An Angel is promised for a guide, with a blessing, if they obey him.


1THOU ashalt not 1raise a false report: bput not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

4¶If thou emeet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

5fIf thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, 3and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

26¶There nshall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: othe number of thy days I will fulfil.

29I will rnot drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

32Thou ushalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
